About PFCU
In 1962, a group of healthcare workers at a St. Vincent Hospital in Southwest Portland, Oregon, established an employee credit union. Today, PFCU doesn’t just serve Providence employees and their immediate families in Oregon, Washington, California, Montana, Texas, Nevada, and Alaska. In 2022, we expanded to serve health care professionals, home care workers, and childcare providers in California as their new banking partner for United Domestic Workers (UDW Labor Union), a nonprofit organization based in San Diego, California. UDW provides advocacy and support to more than 74,000 members.
We’re one of the largest credit unions in the United States that serves employees and their families in the healthcare industry. But our proudest achievement is helping our members live well, reach their goals, and thrive through all of life’s milestones.

Financial Education
At PFCU your financial well-being is a priority. One of the most important things we do is to connect you with valuable resources and free tools, as well as free financial counseling to help you solve the money questions of life.
