We wanted to let you know about an upcoming change by U.S. Bank that will affect your Providence Federal Credit Union (PFCU) transaction activity at all U.S. Bank ATM locations.

U.S. Bank is leaving the MoneyPass Network

As a PFCU member, MoneyPass is one of your surcharge-free ATM networks. U.S. Bank has recently announced that as of October 31, 2023, they will remove their ATMs from the network. While we understand that U.S. Bank’s decision may be inconvenient, please be rest assured that you can continue to use all other ATMs in the Co-Op, AllPoint and MoneyPass networks free of charge. How does this impact my deposits?

While you can no longer make deposits at U.S. Bank ATMs starting October 31, 2023, your check deposits are free of charge anytime using our mobile banking. It’s convenient, safe, and secure. Of course, you can continue to make cash and check deposits at many of the deposit-taking ATMs in the Co-Op, MoneyPass and AllPoint networks as well as at our ITMs (Interactive Teller Machines).

How does this impact my withdrawals?

Starting October 31, 2023, if you use U.S. Bank ATMs for withdrawals on your PFCU account, you will be charged both ATM surcharges from U.S. Bank and Out-of-Network ATM Fees from PFCU.
You can still access over 100,000 surcharge-free ATMs at Co-Op, AllPoint, and the remaining MoneyPass locations. Visit our Branch and ATM Locator to find a nearby ATM.

How can I find surcharge-free ATMs?

Our Branch and ATM Locator pulls information directly from the Co-Op, AllPoint and MoneyPass networks, so you can always search for the nearest PFCU ATM, surcharge-free ATM, or deposit-taking ATM convenient for you.
