IMPORTANT NOTICE: SendMoney service ending on April 21, 2021.

We at Providence Federal Credit Union pride ourselves in getting you the services you want and can use. We regret to inform you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, PFCU’s service, SendMoney will end, effective April 21, 2021.

We understand that this is quite an inconvenience. We sincerely apologize.

As an explanation, Connect, the company who partnered with us to offer SendMoney, cannot continue the service. The reason, while surprising, makes a lot of sense. 

PayPal replaced SendMoney with another application. Unfortunately, the replacement does not provide appropriate mechanisms for credit union-enforced fraud controls. Therefore, we really have no other option. At this moment, we have no replacement service to offer. Rest assured, we’re looking.  When we find the right mobile money transfer service partner application, we promise you will be the first to know.
