Effective December 31, 2019, Providence Federal Credit Union will no longer participate in the Shared Branch Network and Sprig App. Providence FCU will continue to maintain membership in the surcharge free ATM Network which allows surcharge free withdrawals and deposits (where accepted) at 90,000 locations nationwide.
Virtually every transaction completed at a Shared Branch service center can now be done using one of Providence FCU's digital banking tools. Here are a list of resources that will help our Shared Branch users to transition away from typical Shared Branching transactions:
Get Cash - use your debit card at any of 90,000 surcharge free ATMs to obtain cash. You can also get cash back at many merchants by selecting the cash back option when you pay. Most ATMs also accept deposits. Click here to locate an ATM near you.
Deposit a check - use the Providence FCU Mobile App to snap a photo of a check you'd like to deposit and send it digitally. Click here to download the mobile app.
Transfer Money - Providence FCU's online banking and mobile banking app allows you to transfer funds to other Providence FCU accounts or make transfer to accounts at other financial institutions.
Receive Payments - Providence offers direct deposit of your paycheck so you don't have to handle a paper check. Additionally, agencies sending retirement or other payments prefer direct deposit. Click to learn more.
